✦ STANDARD INFORMATION (PAYMENT, TURNOVER, REFUNDS)

ALL payment is done in full and upfront via paypal invoice

My commissions are not FCFS meaning some entries might not be picked, dependent on customer demand vs available slots. You may request to be put in a queue for priority contact before future openings.Estimated turnover ranges from 4 to 8 weeks starting from payment confirmation, with more complex commission styles taking longer to be completed. I reserve the right to take longer than that estimate for any reason, though any significant delay will be communicated directly to the client. Reach out to me if you need the commission to be done within a specific deadline, I might be able to arrange it for an additional rush fee.All orders are final and non-refundable due to international currency processing limitations / wallet currency holding limits recently imposed on Brazil by Paypal. This is non-negotiable. Please carefully consider the services offered before finalizing your payment. I will proactively refund the full price of the commission to the client should I find myself unable to complete their order on a timely or satisfactory manner.All values presented in this carrd are base prices, and subject to additional fees depending on the complexity of the request. A full price breakdown will be provided to the client when I first contact you about your application. Please refer to this page for an example of how my fees and pricing work. After payment is processed, any requests for new props or extraneous details not communicated to me by the client during budgeting will be subject to another invoice, for the fee equivalent to the requested item. Please refrain from requesting extra elements free-of-charge or "as a favor."As an artist, I might make suggestions for the addition of elements that weren't initially requested to be added to the commission by the client, at my own discretion and artistic liberty. Please feel free to accept or decline these suggestions at your own discretion, as those will not be subject to any additional fees.Additional fees may be charged if excessive or radical alterations are requested after the sketch has been approved by the client. While I regularly check in with the client for tweaks along the entire process of the commission, excessive tweak requests or ones that require redoing vast sections of the artwork will be subject to additional fees before compliance. I also reserve myself the right to decline requests if I judge them to be unreasonable (i.e. change the entire pose from scratch once the artwork is being painted), so please be as thorough as possible in the references provided and during requests for feedback. Requests for changes born out of artist mistake or oversight of provided references are not subject to these terms.

Any non contractually agreed upon commercial use of my artwork will be subject to the collection of industry standard licensing fees, to be enforced through legal avenues. ✦ ADDITIONAL TERMS (FOR EDITORIAL PENCIL COMMS ONLY)

Due to the degradable nature of traditional artwork, the amount of tweaks and edits on illustration commissions are limited. This comes from the fact that, even with the careful handling of high quality archival paper, paper tooth (and its subsequent capacity to absorb pencil) degrades the more you work on it, particularly the more you erase.Furthermore, with a medium like graphite, staining upon erasure is inevitable. This means that poor handling of the paper grain/tooth can make it so the entire drawing is wasted, because the overworked parts of the paper become damaged beyond salvation, unable to be properly worked on. Thus, extensive edits and redraws are not possible once I have started to work on the illustration, particularly once I have started with the shading.To avoid these issues, it is recommended that the client is thorough with their feedbacks during check ins with the artist, particularly during the thumbnail and sketch phase. Smaller tweaks are fine, but please refrain from asking for changes in the pose and composition once I have started working on paper.Please understand that, unlike digital art which can be endlessly edited and reworked, I am working with real world, physical materials that are reactive to the strain put upon them, and that I have a limited supply of. Good quality paper and pencil is expensive, particularly in Brazil where I have to import them from abroad at inflated prices. I always aim to deliver the best possible results to my clients, but try to be considerate of the imperfections and limitations that are inherent to doing traditional artwork.With these facts in mind, client requests that require me to restart the artwork from scratch will be subject to additional fees, respective not only to total work lost, but also the lost materials. These terms do not apply if this happens as a result of gross artist mistake or oversight.
